1 Chronicles 23:25-26 “Family Privileges…”
Pastor Andy examines 1 Chronicles 23:25-26 where King David announces that the Levites shall no longer carry the tabernacle because God picked Mount Moriah as His permanent dwelling place. This required a time of restructuring and, almost surprisingly, David dropped the age requirement from 30 to 20—needing MORE people when the temple was stationary. King David organized the Levites into divisions we mirror today: priests who sanctify, intercede, minister to God, and bless others; musicians who prophesy with instruments; gatekeepers providing security and physical work; those over treasuries and generous donors; officials handling administration; and mission teams east of Jordan with more people on mission than home front. We're the body of Christ, an organism with each member connected to the Head.
